Privacy Policy

DeedMine (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the DeedMine property intelligence platform (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and a hashed password. We never store plaintext passwords.
Property & Usage Data
We process property addresses and public-record data (tax records, court filings, permit records, deed recordings) to generate distress scores. We collect records of which properties your organization has scored, watched, and managed in the pipeline.
API Usage
We log API key usage including request counts, timestamps, and IP addresses for security, billing, and rate-limiting purposes.
Payment Information
Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We retain Stripe customer and subscription IDs to manage your plan.
Cookies & Session Data
We use first-party cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To authenticate your account and enforce rate limits
- To process billing and send transactional emails (plan confirmations, password resets, email verification)
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To send product updates and security notices (you may opt out of non-essential communications)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend / SendGrid — transactional email delivery
- Railway — cloud infrastructure hosting
- Vercel — frontend hosting and CDN
- Law enforcement, when legally required
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7). Score history and property records are retained for 90 days on Starter plans and 12 months on Pro/Enterprise plans.
5. Security
We use bcrypt (cost-12) for password hashing, TLS for all data in transit, and access-controlled infrastructure. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. See our Security page for details.
6. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Data portability (export your scored-property history)

7. Account Deletion
You may request full account and data deletion by emailing privacy@deedmine.com. Deletion is processed within 30 days. Billing records required by law are retained for 7 years.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you by email and post the updated policy here at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
